Bree Williamson was born on December 28, 1981 in Toronto Ontario, Canada. She was raised and lived their until she was in her late teens.

She has a sister name Tarra with whom she opened a successful clothing store with when she was a teen. Before she became an actress she originally wanted to pursue a career in Business, Psychology or Women’s Studies. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science degree. Before relocating to Manhattan she devoted much of her free time to helping out with community service. She is an avid reader as well as a sports enthusiast.

In 2003 Bree moved from Toronto to Manhattan because she wanted to try to pursue her dream of becoming an actresss. Soon after she moved she was called in to audition for a role on a soap opera called One Life to Live. She auditioned and got the role of Jessica Buchanan. She first appeared on the show on February 5, 2003. Besides her role on One Life to Live she has done numerous commercials for ads such as Tostitos and Pepsi. She completed a leading role in the feature film Adam and Eve which is set to debut at the Toronto Film Festival. She has had guest-starring roles in the Toronto based Mutant X, as well as roles on Columbia Tristars Doc and Nikita.
